This year we are going to introduce 2 new events to the club as well as the Club Championships.
The 1st event we are introducing is a team event.
The reasoning behind this event is to bring runners of all abilities together as a team. The more teams the better. Hopefully we will get enough interest to run the event starting in April.
We are looking for runners from all 6 divisions to take part.
Each team will consist of 6 members - 1 person from each division, we will endeavour to have 3 men and 3 ladies per team but may have randomly allocated team members dependant on interest. All teams will be of equal ability or as close as possible by age grading.
The competition will be over 5 different events throughout the year.
The events are all shorter end of the scale runs to give all a chance to enter.
These events are free or minimal cost to enter.
This event will only be contested for 1st and 2nd place
Do not worry if you cannot make 1 of the events you will still get a score so it won’t stop your team from potentially winning. The score you will receive will be equal to your lowest score for one of the runs you have entered.
There will shortly be an event page on face book where you can let your interest be known or contact me, Darren (Men’s Captain) or Katrina (Ladies’ Captain) who will pass your name on to me and we will do the draw for teams last week of March.
The Individual competition will be contested by all 6 divisions separately 3 Men’s divisions and 3 Ladies’ divisions.
The event will only be contested for 1st and 2nd Places

All events will commence on the 1st April and end at the 1st X Country
