A multi terrain, mainly off-road, 10k race starting in Brabyns Park Marple, utilising sections (not the muddy part) of the Marple parkrun course before leaving the park via the canal locks, taking back roads and trails via Marple Hall to Chadkirk and up "that hill", then back to Marple along the Peak Forest Canal, crossing the iconic Marple Aqueduct before finishing back at the start in Brabyns Park.

(Note we may have to modify the course in 2024 due to Canal & River Trust works at Lock 7)

Starting and finishing in beautiful Brabyns Park, then a short section of Marple canal locks, some quiet back roads and paths in Marple, past the ruins of Marple Hall and over the River Goyt into Chadkirk Country Park, up "that hill" to the Peak Forest Canal and back to Brabyns Park over the spectacular Marple Aqueduct towering 40m above the River Goyt.

This is a multi-terrain event, mostly on trails (some of which are narrow) and with some gates and steps.  As such, the course is not suitable for running with buggies or dogs, both of which are prohibited.
